A credit card is one of the most commonly used means of payment when booking and in order to guarantee the booking of the accommodation.
A pre-authorisation* may be carried out to confirm that your credit card is valid and has sufficient funds to pay for your booking, or in certain cases, these details are used to pay for your stay at the time of booking.
*The pre-authorisation is a temporary block on the money for your booking, to confirm the validity of your card and that your card has sufficient funds to cover the booking. The amount withheld is returned to your account after a certain period of time in case of cancellation of the booking, which depends on the accommodation and your card issuer.
Yes, Villa Dédalos requires a deposit of 400 euros to be paid by credit card. The property may charge the deposit up to 7 days before the day of arrival or at the latest on the day of arrival at the accommodation.
The deposit will be refunded, after checking the accommodation and verifying that everything is OK, to the same credit card with which the payment was made and within 7 days after your departure (check-out).
Once you have made your booking and paid for it, you will receive an email with the payment details of your booking.
You can find the proof of payment in the confirmation email you will receive after making your booking. If you wish, you can download the receipt in PDF format from there. Otherwise, if you have not received the email, please check:
- that your email address is correct;
- that the e-mail sent by LCTEU is not in your spam folder.
- If you do not receive the email within 24 hours of your cancellation, please contact us to confirm that we have received your cancellation.
Our accommodation is responsible for charging your card.
The charges will depend on when you make your booking in relation to the day of arrival at Villa Daedalos. Please see the section on payment and credit cards.
If there are no pre-payment conditions, we may pre-authorise your card prior to your stay. This is a temporary charge to validate your card and guarantee your reservation.
No, you must pay the full amount of your booking and then follow the cancellation policy that we offer.
It is possible. In the event that your card has been lost or has simply expired and you have a new one to replace it, payments for the stay may be accepted with a different credit card or cash. That said, payments for your booking are made at the time of confirmation of your booking.
In the event of cancellation of your booking, you will be refunded the amount paid in accordance with our cancellation policy which can be found in our terms and conditions.
To confirm that you can use a different credit card, please contact the accommodation.
In principle NO. You will only have to pay the deposit if it has not been paid before your arrival at the accommodation.
If you wish to hire other services that you have not booked and paid for in advance with the accommodation, you will be able to see and discuss how to pay for them at the time of contracting them.
If after making a reservation for a number of people, you show up with someone else at the last minute, you must:
- To inform us and confirm with the accommodation the possibility of doing so;
- To pay, on the day of check-in, the difference for the number of extra people that are not foreseen in the information of the initial booking and as foreseen in the prices of our accommodation.
- If you wish to receive any extra service, such as heating the swimming pool, or to go on an excursion or other experience, this should be arranged with us as soon as possible or let us know as soon as possible so that we can organise it and you can pay for it during your stay in our accommodation or according to the conditions of the service provider in order to guarantee your reservation.
Yes, but the cancellation fee will depend on the date of the cancellation in relation to the date of arrival at our accommodation. Namely:
100% Refund of Your Booking Payment: Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check-in date at the accommodation.
50% Refund of Your Booking Payment: If you cancel between 31 and 60 days before the accommodation check-in date, you will be refunded 50% of the total price paid.
100% of the Booking Payment: If you do not show up or if you cancel within the 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date, the charge will be for the total price paid for your booking.
Please note that you CANNOT change the dates of a non-refundable booking.
If the booking is already NON-refundable, cancellation of the booking will incur the costs determined in our cancellation policy, which you can see in the answer to the question: Can I cancel my booking?

When you cancel your booking you will receive an e-mail confirming the cancellation. Otherwise, if you have not received the email, please check:
- that your e-mail address is correct;
- that the e-mail sent by LCTEU is not in your spam folder.
- If you do not receive the email within 24 hours of your cancellation, please contact us to confirm that we have received your cancellation.
No. Once you have cancelled your booking, it will be automatically deleted and the released dates will be offered for sale again and those same dates may no longer be available.
You will have to rebook and see if those same dates are available.

You will receive an email with the confirmation of your booking at the email address you provided during the purchase process. Otherwise, if you have not received the email, please verify:

If within 24 hours of making and paying for your booking and after checking your inbox and spam folder, you cannot find your booking confirmation email, please contact us in the CONTACT US section and we will send you a copy of the confirmation email that was sent to you when you finalised and paid for your booking.

- Check-in time is from 15:00 to 21:00 hours.
- Check-out timetable is from 8:00 to 11:00 am.
These times will be reflected in the information you receive in your booking confirmation email. If you have any questions, you can also consult the information we have on our website.
Once you have made your booking, you can ask us if it is possible to enter or leave the house outside the usual timetable. You must bear in mind that we cannot guarantee this and it will depend on:
- the availability of the accommodation, there may be other guests leaving or entering on the same day and the house needs to be prepared and in perfect condition for your arrival or that of other guests after you;
- If you arrive 2 or 3 hours before the scheduled check-in time, you can, for your convenience, leave your luggage in our accommodation for safekeeping and enter later at the scheduled time.
Normally someone will be waiting for you, in the event that your entry time is outside the scheduled times, we will give you the necessary instructions via WhatsApp or email so that you can make your entrance to the property without any problem.
In the information we will give you, we will inform you of:
- where the keys are located and
- the entrance code to open the door of Villa Daedalos.
The discounts we offer appear on our website, in case you have a “discount voucher”, you must enter it before finalizing your reservation to see it reflected in the final price of the same.
From 28 days of stay at Villa Dédalos you can receive a 20% discount on the total price of your reservation so you can enjoy our villa at a better price. This discount is automatically applied if you book a stay of between 29 days and a maximum of 90 days in the villa.
Discounts are not cumulative and may be incompatible with each other.
Villa Daedalos has a capacity for 8 people in 4 bedrooms and we can offer you up to two cots free of charge for two babies (up to 2 years old). Therefore, 8 adults and 2 babies can stay in the villa.
Additional beds are not possible in addition to those already available in the house.
After booking, you will have all the information and what is included in the e-mail confirmation of your booking.
The prices shown on our website for the Villa Daedalos are final prices and include both taxes and service charges unless there is a technical/typographical error or clerical error.
Unless otherwise stated, the currency used for reference on our website is the “euro” (€). The total amount to be paid by the User for the services purchased will be indicated in the booking confirmation on the Website.
When you make a Reservation, you agree to pay the cost of the Reservation, including all charges and taxes that may apply.
The prices indicated on this Web site refer to a specific stay and will vary, unless otherwise indicated, depending on the number of people, nights of stay and prices according to season.
That said, Villa Dédalos has a price for a minimum of four (4) people, from four and up to a maximum of eight (8) people the price will vary depending on the number of people staying, the number of days of stay and / or the date chosen in your reservation.
We do not accept vouchers or discount vouchers from third parties that have not been validated by the company that manages Villa Dédalos.
However, it may be the case that the user himself has a valid coupon provided by LCTEU or any of its partners and after validation of this by LCTEU with the locator or corresponding code, our booking system can validate it and make the reservation. LCTEU reserves the right to verify that the coupon or discount voucher is valid and to confirm its validity or not.
If you see a crossed out price, this indicates the equivalent price of the accommodation for the dates chosen in your booking without the price reduction applied (In this case, “equivalent” implies the same dates, conditions, quality of accommodation). Therefore, you are getting a better price for your accommodation than the crossed out price for that booking compared to other check-in dates at the same time of the year.
There is a free public car park in front of the house. It is an area where you will have no problem finding parking for your car practically 24 hours a day.
It’s very easy, you have:
- a key at your disposal that you don’t even need to use, as you also have;
- a unique code of entrance to Villa Dédalos that we will give you the day of your entrance to the house.

- 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed each (2 large beds of 180 x 200 cm in total).
- 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each (4 single beds in total).
4 complete bathrooms fully equipped with: WC, bath or shower, bidet, towels and hairdryer.

Of course, Villa Daedalos has high speed wifi and signal boosters at various points in the house.
Villa Dédalos has an 85 inch TV in the main living room where we offer a FREE satellite TV service to our guests and where you can enjoy:
- Virtually all sports channels, news, movies, etc., from most EU countries, UK and channels from Asia, America and others.
- Video club with more than 25,000 films for your enjoyment in original and subtitled versions.

YES, Villa Dédalos has a private heated pool and, given the good temperatures we have on the island of Lanzarote, you can enjoy this 365 days a year, even in winter you can swim and enjoy our pool to be able to be heated.
Villa Dédalos has sunbeds, parasols and pool towels available for guests staying at our house.
New: We also offer a Balinese bed for you to enjoy comfortably when you are in the pool terrace area.

This accommodation does not accept debit cards as a method of payment unless the booking is within 30 days prior to check-in at Villa Daedalos.
Pre-authorisations can be confused with credit card charges, for example when you shop in a shop with your card, the full amount of your purchase is immediately charged to your available balance. With pre-authorisations the money is blocked for a certain period of time and the duration of the block can vary. We advise you to speak to your card issuer for advice on what to do.
The price of your booking will be temporarily deducted from your available balance, this will be reflected in “pending transactions” on your account statement. Both the accommodation and your card issuer can confirm whether the pre-authorisation has been made.
You can make a reservation as long as you have the cardholder’s permission. It is important that you indicate this in the “special requests box” when making the booking, as the accommodation may need the cardholder’s authorisation. Please note that charges for late cancellations or no-shows will be charged to the card.
The company in charge of your credit card will give you a better answer about the general conditions associated with the pre-authorisation procedure. These conditions vary from card to card, so we advise you to contact your card issuer for more detailed information.
The accommodation site only needs your credit card details to confirm your booking. In order to know if you have sufficient funds and that your card is valid, a card check (pre-authorisation) will be done. After this check, the amount will be available to you again. The accommodation will only charge your card if you have booked with the prepayment option or if you do not comply with the cancellation conditions.
